WARRANTY POLICY 

KITEBOARD

We undertake strict quality control on all our products to make sure our customer can enjoy our items.

 

We warrantie our kiteboards to be free from major defects in material or workmanship to the original purchaser, for a period of 365 days (Warranty period may vary by country or purchase). If, for any reason, you feel that our kiteboard does not meet your quality expectations, please contact Mangrove Boards directly to discuss your concerns.

GUARANTEE

Our warranty does not cover kiteboards damaged by normal wear and tear of kiteboard products:

Normal wear and tear in the form of:

  • Damage due to impact on curbs or other objects
  • Damage from extreme temperature changes, water, or moisture
  • Warping as a result of exposure to heat, snow, rain, or immersion in water
  • Edges chipping or cracks from impact to foreign objects
  • Minor differences in symmetry (our kiteboards are handmade!)
  • Stress cracks in the surface plies that are not deemed to be defects and do not affect the structural integrity of your Mangrove Boards kiteboard 

Breaks due to:

  • User error in the assembly of your Mangrove kiteboard or components
  • High impact tricks
  • Any sort of intentional breakage 

Other items:

  • Physically modifying your kiteboard (chopping, redrilling, etc.)
  • Damage during the shipping process (this responsibility lies with the carrier)
  • Boards bought second hand
  • Warranty boards will be replaced without accessories

Mangrove Boards reserves the right, as we see fair, to either repair or replace any Mangrove Boards product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models when necessary.

 

Proof of purchase

  • All warranty claims require proof of purchase of your Mangrove product. The warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser and is void if your product was purchased from another person or an unauthorized dealer (including, without limitation, Craigslist, eBay, a corner lemonade stand, they “fell off the back of a truck”, etc.)

Eligibility 

  • This warranty applies to all new Mangrove kiteboards purchased since July the 1st 2021

Warranty guidelines

  • If you’re having problems with your product, please contact us directly via our contact page.
  • If so, we will email you a Return Authorisation Number and we will have you send your deck to us for inspection.
  • Please make sure that the shipping is prepaid, the package is insured for full replacement value and you use a shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number. Please make sure that your note describes their location and includes your Authorisation Number.
  • If we deem that your kiteboard is eligible for a warranty we will repair or replace and send it back to you at our cost

 

 

 

RETURNS

In accordance with the legislation in force on distance selling, you benefit from a withdrawal period of 14 working days starting from the date of receipt of the package,

If you have ordered our kiteboard and you do not want it for any reason, you can return it to us within the first 14 days from the date on which it reaches your delivery address. Here’s what you need to do:

Within 14 days, you must inform our team by email at: contact@mangroveboards.com

Indicate your decision to return the kiteboard.

The kiteboard must be returned to our offices in its new and unused state, in its original packaging.

Returns that do not meet these criterias will not be refunded or returned to the customer at the expense of Mangrove Boards. The kiteboard can be returned to the client on request at the client’s expense.

The customer service manager reserves the right to refuse a package if the packaging of the kiteboard is not compliant.

 

Mangrove Boards shall not be liable for any loss, delay or damage.

 

We will provide you with the refund as soon as we confirm that the kiteboard has arrived at our offices and that it is in its new condition.

 

In case of an error on our part, the return costs will be refunded to you at the level of a shipment. Any additional charges (e.g., acknowledgment of receipt, express delivery) will be borne by you and will not be refundable. SKATEBOARDS / LONGBOARDS

  • Tail or nose wear from dragging your Mangrove Skateboard
  • Damage due to impact on curbs or other objects
  • Damage from extreme temperature changes, water, or moisture
  • Warping as a result of exposure to heat, snow, rain, or immersion in water
  • Edges chipping or cracks from impact to foreign objects
  • Minor differences in symmetry (our skateboards are crafted by hand!)
  • Stress cracks in the surface plies that are not deemed to be defects and do not affect the structural integrity of your Mangrove Boards Skateboard 

Breaks due to:

  • User error in the assembly of your Mangrove Skateboard or components
  • High impact tricks
  • Any sort of intentional breakage

 

 

Other items:

  • Grip tape replacement or repair (though we are happy to point you in the right direction)
  • Boards bought second hand

THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE, WRITTEN, ORAL, OR IMPLIED AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE

RETURNS

If you ordered our skateboard/longboard and you do not want it for any reason, you can return it to us within the first 14 days from the date the skateboard reaches your delivery address. Here’s what you need to do:
